Nargate is a Black/Death Metal band with an oriental touch, formed by guitarist Isam Al-Mari in 2017 after a year of his immigrating from Syria to Leipzig, Germany. It took several years to adopt a specific musical direction and eventually re-establish the line-up. The name Nargate is a combination of two words, Nar (نار) which means Fire or Hell in Arabic, and Gate, together to form Nargate or Hell Gate. The band will open for the legendary Black Metal band Mayhem at their 30th anniversary show, live in Leipzig on December 15, 2022.
